The technology giant has not yet announced this acquisition to the public, but legal regulations indicate that Apple ‘s international corporate lawyer, Peter Denwood, was appointed to the executive board of iKinema on September 12th. iKinema is a company specializing in motion capture, games and VR software . The website currently offers little information about the company, but it is possible to find videos about their work on the iKinema Youtube channel.
It is a fact that Apple is increasingly interested in augmented and virtual reality. In parallel, iKinema will work in line with Apple’s goals for both the ARKit software platform for developers and the production of AR glasses . For the time being, it is unclear when an official statement will be made on the amount of purchase.
