If you wish, let’s leave you alone with the DJI Osmo Action UKT video without further ado. Have a good time…
DJI appeared in front of GoPro last year with its first action camera. With its DJI Osmo Action features, it has taken its place among the action cameras that have been curious since the first day. When we look at the design details, we can say that it is similar to its competitor. Osmo Action , which has the same shape and similar dimensions, proves that GoPro customers have an eye on it. However, there is an LED display in front of DJI Osmo Action. This allows him to leave his opponent. Thanks to the LED display, the angle can be clearly detected in all images taken from the front. On the GoPro side, this is done only by smartphone or trial and error.
The main screen of the camera is touch-sensitive, while the second 1.4-inch screen controls the buttons. It is also noteworthy that the two screens are interconnected. That is, only one of the two screens can be actively used. Also, the waiting time of the home screen plays an important role in how long the small screen can be active.
Unlike GoPro, Osmo Action does not have an HDMI port. When trying to connect an external microphone, USB-C connection comes to the fore.
Osmo Action comes with three buttons on it. One of them, of course, is the shutter that allows you to start and stop recording. The other is the power button. In addition, a quick-adjust button for switching modes is positioned on the camera.
When we look at the interface of the action camera, a standard view meets us. It is possible to access the menus by swiping.
Now let’s come to the curious camera details.
It is possible to record 4K 60 FPS video with Osmo Action. There are also 30 FPS and 24 FPS options. The camera has an aperture of f / 2.8 and a 145-degree viewing angle. The camera, which also supports semi-automatic shooting modes, can also take successful photos.
The camera, which can shoot videos at 100 Mbps, is also seen to be prominent with its stabilization system. Recall that in Osmo Action, a TimeLapse and 4x / 8x Slo-Mo shooting modes called RockSteady are also available on the camera.
Finally, this action camera from DJI comes with a 1,300 mAh battery, and in our experience, this battery does a very successful job.
