Kingston announces new 2.5-inch SSD

Kingston’s new 2.5-inch SSD model is aimed at both standard users and gamers with different capacities. Prices are a bit behind the competition due to the first exit.

Kingston, a leading manufacturer of storage products, announced the new KC600 SSD in a 2.5-inch SATA form factor for standard users and gamers. The model comes in different capacities.

The Kingston KC600 SSD is based on the company’s 3D TLC NAND memory modules. The reading speed is up to 550MB / s and writing speeds vary between 500MB / s and 520MB / s depending on the capacity.

On the input and output performance side, 80000 IOPS as writing and 90000 IOPS as read. AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption, TCG Opal 2.0 and eDrive features enhance data security. The Kingston KC600 SSD model comes with a choice of 256GB-512GB-1TB-2TB capacity. In addition to the single product, a set of screws is also available. The first capacities to be released are as follows:

KC600 512GB (single) – $ 72.80

KC600 256GB (screwdriver package) —59.80 $
