Oppo and Qualcomm executives attending the 5G summit in Barcelona confirmed that they will work together to produce a dual mode 5G smartphone. Oppo manager Henry Tang said that this smartphone will be launched before the end of 2019.
This phone will feature dual mode 5G and will support both standalone mode ( SA ) and non-standalone ( NSA ) network modes. SA mode uses 5G cells for both signal and data transmission without the need for an existing LTE network. The NSA mode, on the other hand, relies on LTE technology, such as communication between base stations and servers, and is tasked with accelerating 5G deployment due to its low cost.
Henry Tang’s statement on the issue: “The new generation of our dual-mode 5G devices, global as more market, more consumers will provide a superior experience.” Device when using the phrase Qualcomm 7250 is scheduled to arrive with the chipset. The price of the smartphone is not yet about the information.
