Description
Samsung Omnia W is a stylish Windows Phone 7.5 Mango smartphone with a rather thin 0.43-inch profile and relatively lightweight 4.07-ounce body. Designwise, it’s similar to the original Omnia 7, but instead of going for a strictly rectangular shape, here the edges are rounded. It’s also a hair thinner and half an ounce lighter. But the key word in the description of the W series seems to be balance as the handset doesn’t shine with anything in particular in the hardware department. It features a 3.7-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, while under the hood a 1.4GHz processor runs along with 512MB of RAM. On the back, there’s a 5-megapixel camera recording 720p video footage, while up front a VGA shooter will make video conferencing easier. The rest is pretty standard – 14.4Mbps HSPA connectivity, 8 gigs of on-board memory, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi b/g/n and A-GPS.
