Remote Play, which allows you to play games on PlayStation 4 consoles from the phone, has only ever worked on Sony Xperia phones. The feature is now available on all Android devices.
Sony released an update to the PlayStation 4 system software, along with version 7.00 removed the Xperia restriction on Remote Play. Now all Android users will be able to play games on their PlayStation 4 on their phones starting this week.

Remote Play, which will run on all phones running Android version 5.0 and above, has been running on Xperia models only since 2014. Sony also added iOS support this year, so Android support was expected to come at any time.
