The World 5G Conference was held in China this year and was heralded for Xiaomi 5G phones. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced that the company has come to an end in a factory built to develop and manufacture 5G flagships.
The plant, which is scheduled for completion in December, is located in Beijing's Economic and Technological Development Zone in Beijing, China. Only the flagship factory will not serve another brand other than Xiaomi.
The plant will have large-scale automated production lines for cloud services and 5G laboratories as well as increasing productivity in production.
Built on an area of 187,000 square meters, the factory will be 60 percent faster than conventional smartphone production lines. In this way, 1 per second, 60 minutes per minute production can be realized.
With the factory expected to produce 1 million units in the first stage, Xiaomi will be able to respond to high inventory demands in a short time. We would like to remind you that in 2020, Xiaomi announced that all of its phones, which cost around $ 300, will have 5G support. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer pays great attention to the 5G and will equip all models in the middle – upper segment with this technology.
