Today, many technological products come with built-in microphones and cameras . According to US Senator Cory Gardner , these devices should be affixed with a warning label to protect the privacy of consumers.

Consumers should be clearly informed
Senator Cory Gardner’s proposal to protect the privacy of the bill, the built-in microphone and camera is designed to cover all devices. The proposed regulation is similar to the FDA ‘s request to ask food manufacturers to label foods that may contain allergens such as peanuts . ” Consumers face some challenges when it comes to their privacy, but they shouldn’t have any trouble finding out if a device they buy has a camera or microphone embedded in it, ” says Gardner.
This proposal may seem strange to many people. It can be said that almost all of the users are aware that they have purchased a device with these features. Earlier this year, however, Nest Secure had a hidden microphone and Google forgot to list it in the technical specifications section, not intentionally. The new law to be introduced also aims to prevent such “mistakes”.
